TVW Reflects on MY WRITING APPRENTICESHIP
Sunday Mar 14, 2021
Sunday Mar 14, 2021
You know those times when you consider where you are? Rather than dwell on that, we should consider how far we've come.
In this week's episode, TVW reflects on what it took to create the self confidence to publish 11 books. It wasn't easy, in fact it took determination and a need to want more.
(Sometimes you have to educate yourself rather than leave it to the schools.) :O)

Have you ever noticed how some people just take, take, take? If you are a giving person or even a people pleaser, do you find that those takers are often at your door ready to take what you're giving? Perhaps, then, it's time to stop being a walk over.
TVW shares 3 anecdotes on times being kind was seen as being a walkover.

2021 marks the 10th year that For The Love of Books has been in business. The Versatile Writer comes under that banner.
Because of that, I'm sharing the love by way of gift-giving. Also, because of the job losses due to COVID 19, I decided being a helpful businessperson might be what the world needs right now. Therefore, over the next 4 weeks, I'll be sharing with you how to gain confidence in 4 different aspects of Creative Writing so that, maybe, you can begin your own writing business.
This week, we look at Editing & Proofreading.

The Versatile Writer on Creative Writing Workshops
Monday Jan 25, 2021
Monday Jan 25, 2021
The second in four podcasts on helping others learn what different aspects of writing are, instilling a sense of confidence in them and, perhaps, considering doing them yourself as a business. This is because of the job losses due to Covid19, and the fact that www.loveofbooks.co.uk is celebrating ten years in business this year so sharing the gifts is my way of giving back/paying it forward.
Creative writing workshops don't just happen, they take months, sometimes years of practice to get them right. They include research, worthwhile information, delivery, and professionalism.
Listen to this week's episode to discover which I've learned is the most important one on which to focus.
Please also share this podcast with your friends and family - it may be just what they're waiting to hear about right now. Thank you :)

TVW talks New Year's Resolutions
Monday Jan 11, 2021
Monday Jan 11, 2021
Just because we've begun a new year, it doesn't mean we have to have a resolution. Yet taking on the idea of a resolution feels like we are at least trying to be proactive.
Some of us try every year to create a better version of ourselves yet, by February, the challenge proved too much to deal with and we just couldn't succeed. It might have been because something came up, the bleak weather bringing us down, or grumpy people surrounding us stopping our motivation. It might even be that the novelty wore off and we just could not be bothered to continue.
But what if we found another way to challenge ourselves that actually worked with us not against us?
The Versatile Writer provides a potential answer, and another way of looking at resolutions.
